Melrose.
Melrose Design Company was founded by Zac and Jess Jones in a small college garage at Old Dominion University. This garage was found on Melrose Parkway, hence our company name! Jess and Zac got married after moving off Melrose Parkway and after college. We have two young woodworkers that help us (Bradley and Calihan) out with projects here and there. Jess works for the City of Virginia Beach as a Service Coordinator for Children ages 0-3, in the evenings she helps Zac with designs for clients builtins, spaces and signs.
Zac is a Civil Engineer for a local Marine Contractor, in the evenings he goes into the shop to full fill orders for the Hampton Roads Area. We owe a ton of gratitude to this community that allows us to bring their visions to life. We feel a great sense of pride visiting clients over the years and seeing their vision and our work displayed proudly in their space. So with that thank you for allowing us to pursue our passion!
Meet Tucker
Tucker is a German Shorthaired Pointer and sits in our shop as the shop manager. You can find him in a lot of our YouTube videos and plastered all over our website. We got Tucker in 2017 as a pup in Richmond Virginia. Ever since we brought him home he's always wanted to be involved in any project we do in the shop.
